This wooden rosary on a rope is mounted with round beads and a heart bearing the effigy of the Merciful Christ on the front, and the Sacred Heart of Jesus on the back. It is also endowed with a medal of the Merciful Christ.
It is made up of five groups of ten grains.
 
The devotion to Divine Mercy was highlighted by the revelations of Christ to Saint Faustina Kowalska (1905-1938). Jesus then emphasized to her the importance of his Mercy for humanity. Through this devotion, through prayer or a specific rosary, the faithful can solicit the intercession and merciful grace of Jesus Christ. John Paul II also accorded particular importance to Divine Mercy.
